This page gathers trucks from Soviet and Russian makers the register could not assign to a named range – from early post-war ZIS and GAZ models through the heavy off-road trucks of KrAZ and the mining haul trucks of BelAZ to current KAMAZ ranges such as the 5490 and the GAZon NEXT. GAZ (Gorky, today Nizhny Novgorod), ZIL (Moscow), KAMAZ (Naberezhnye Chelny), KrAZ (Kremenchuk, Ukraine) and BelAZ (Zhodino, Belarus) were central truck plants of the Soviet planned economy and still supply the military, agriculture and construction sectors in the successor states today. The model names follow no shared scheme, but instead reflect each plant's own numbering.

The brands represent different market segments: GAZ and ZIL light and medium trucks, KAMAZ long-haul transport and military use, KrAZ off-road trucks for the oil and timber industries, BelAZ the largest mining haul trucks.
On a used purchase, the older ZIL and GAZ models call for checking rust on cab and frame and parts availability, which is limited for vehicles imported outside the CIS states; KAMAZ and KrAZ vehicles call for checking axles, the transfer case and the condition of the turbo-diesel engines.
