The register holds 28 versions here, all six-cylinder, with displacements from 4,500 to 12,170 cc, kerb weights from 3,700 to 14,680 kg, gross vehicle weights from 6,610 to 24,408 kg, lengths from 5,700 to 10,150 mm and widths from 2,260 to 2,540 mm.

Leyland's double-deck buses shaped the streetscape of British cities for decades, and the Routemaster became a symbol of London; the truck ranges competed in long-haul work with Bedford, ERF and continental manufacturers. After the merger with DAF, Leyland Trucks' production passed to the new parent company.

Used, on the buses check for corrosion in the floor pan and the bodywork, which often mixes wood and steel, and the condition of the gearbox and air-brake system; on the trucks, check wear in the axles and leaf springs and the tightness of the older diesel engines. Parts are supplied by British historic-commercial-vehicle specialists and bus enthusiast clubs.
