With a comparatively low unladen weight against gross weights of around 9.5 to 10 tonnes and lengths of over eleven metres, these are light, elongated bodies on a narrow frame, built for transport or special loads rather than compact general-cargo trailers. The large payload reserve against the unladen weight points to a design built for load volume rather than self-weight.

On such long, light trailers, the condition and alignment of the axles, the function of the brake system, rust on frame and side rails along the full length, the state of the load bed, and lighting and tyres all count in particular. Parts for such a small model count usually run through independent trailer workshops. It is also worth checking the load rating of axles and tyres relative to the actually loaded weight.
