Kel-Berg mainly supplies Scandinavian and central European hauliers with trailers for building-material, general cargo and refrigerated transport, competing with the larger manufacturers from Germany and the Netherlands. The partnership with Lamberet on the reefer variant shows that Kel-Berg builds its own chassis and frame but sources the insulated box body for the city reefer from a specialist partner.

When buying used, tipper versions call for checking the hydraulics and tipping body, the reefer variant for the cooling unit and door seals, and the other bodies for the condition of the tarpaulin or box walls. Frame and axle mountings should be checked for corrosion and wear, along with brakes and underrun protection; spare parts mostly come through Danish and German commercial-vehicle dealers.
