This page gathers the Tjorven models from the Swedish manufacturer Kalmar Verkstad which the register could not assign to a named range – from the early 440 C, through the KVD 440 G and KVD 441-B variants, to the KVD-440-C-Van box version. The Tjorven is a small Swedish light commercial vehicle with a plastic body and two-stroke engine, its KVD type code referring to the manufacturer Kalmar Verkstad. From the late 1950s the Swedish Post used numerous Tjorven vehicles for mail delivery, which still secures the model's recognition in Sweden today.

With its small size and payload capacity high for its class, the Tjorven served as a nimble delivery vehicle for inner-city distribution work; today it is chiefly a collector's vehicle from Swedish commercial-vehicle history, occasionally exhibited at Nordic veteran-vehicle meets.
When buying used, check the plastic or composite body for cracking, corrosion on the steel frame beneath it, the function of the two-stroke engine including its mixture lubrication, and the availability of wear parts, which are now found in practice mainly through collector and specialist markets.
