International Harvester 64 series
1 model in this series
International Harvester 464: four-cylinder diesel or three-cylinder petrol engine of 2,934 cc, 45 hp (33.1 kW), 179 Nm torque and a top speed of 36 km/h
International Harvester's 64 series covered the lower-to-medium power segment. The 464 was offered with a different number of cylinders depending on fuel type: a four-cylinder diesel version and a three-cylinder petrol version. Both versions were offered in parallel throughout the production run, so workshops had to stock different spare parts depending on fuel type.

The engine, with a displacement of 2,934 cc, produces 45 hp (33.1 kW) at 2,400 rpm and 179 Nm of torque. At an unladen weight of 2,327 kilograms, a wheelbase of 1,910 millimetres and a width of 1,676 millimetres, the 464 is a compact, light utility tractor.
With a design top speed of 36 km/h, the machine falls under driving licence category T. Offering both diesel and petrol versions in parallel was not unusual in the 1970s and reflected preferences and fuel availability in different sales markets. Tractors of this class typically use a standardised power take-off running at 540 rpm to drive mounted implements.
When buying a 464, it must first be established which of the two engine versions is fitted, as spare parts differ between the diesel and petrol variants. Compression, the condition of the clutch and hydraulic tightness belong in the inspection, as does corrosion on the wings and steering knuckles. A complete service history is a useful indicator of how the tractor was used over the years.
