IHC stands for International Harvester Company, the commercial-vehicle and farm-equipment maker based in Chicago. This collective page lists two models of the marque: the KB 2 from the KB series of light trucks, and the Scout, listed here as the Scout 11 version – the compact off-roader with which International Harvester competed against Jeep and later rivals from the 1960s onward.

The register lists 2 versions with an engine of up to 3,500 cc, six to eight cylinders, kerb weights of 1,410 to 1,926 kg, gross vehicle weights of 2,035 to 2,500 kg and widths of 1,800 to 1,810 mm.
The KB 2 handled light to medium-duty haulage for farmers, tradespeople and small haulage firms, while the Scout, as one of the first compact off-roaders on the market, was used in both agricultural and civilian recreational use. Both lines reflect the broad range with which International Harvester was represented in the commercial-vehicle and off-road segment alongside tractors and harvesters.
When buying these older vehicles, key points are corrosion on the frame, wings and load bed or body, the condition of the clutch and gearbox, and the function of the braking system and axles. Spare parts for the engine and drivetrain are available through dealers specialising in International Harvester and Scout as well as the classic-vehicle trade; the manufacturer's own distribution network no longer exists.
