IFA (Industrieverband Fahrzeugbau) brought together several independent vehicle plants under one roof in East Germany. This page gathers versions from across the combine outside the named series: the Multicar, a small universal utility vehicle from the Waltershausen plant, the PHÄNOMEN Granit, named after the long-established Zittau manufacturer Phänomen, and the W 50 from the Ludwigsfelde truck plant in an off-road four-wheel-drive version. The page thus reflects the range of plants united under IFA, from light municipal vehicles to medium-duty road trucks.

The register lists five versions with 37 to 66 kW of output, 1,997 to 6,560 cc of displacement, four to six cylinders, kerb weights from 1,580 to 8,080 kg and gross vehicle weights from 3,500 to 11,999 kg; lengths range from 3,940 to 7,230 mm at a width of 1,580 to 2,500 mm.
The Multicar served East German municipal operators and farms mainly as a manoeuvrable universal vehicle for transport, sweeping and winter-service tasks, while the Phänomen Granit, a medium-duty truck, already belonged in the 1950s to the programme that preceded the later Robur plant in Zittau. The four-wheel-drive W 50 supplemented the civilian road programme with off-road versions for construction and forestry work.
For a used purchase, the checks differ markedly by vehicle type: for the Multicar, rust on the chassis and the condition of the implement hydraulics matter; for the four-wheel-drive W 50, the transfer case and differential locks matter too; and for the Granit, the general condition of a rare pre- and post-war survivor is the key concern. Parts availability varies by plant, and for the Multicar is best through specialist dealers in Germany.
