Crawler dozers in this weight class are used in earthworks, mining and landfill construction to push material, level ground and prepare roads for heavy transport vehicles; HBXG supplies chiefly the Chinese domestic market along with export markets in Asia, Africa and South America with comparatively affordable large machines.

When buying used, what counts is the condition of the track undercarriage, the roadwheels and the track shoes, the tightness of the blade's lift and tilt cylinders, the condition of the final drives, engine hours, and rust on the frame; spare parts for HBXG machines run mostly through Chinese export trade.
