With gross weights above ten tonnes, all versions belong to the heavy-duty trailer class, towed behind lorries for construction, transport or special loads. The width of up to 2,600 mm matches the permitted maximum width for commercial vehicles and points to full-width bodies rather than narrow special trailers.

On a used example in this weight class, axle condition and load rating, the function of the braking system including drums or discs, rust on frame, chassis rails and coupling, and the state of lighting and electrical plug all count. Tyres and rims must be rated for the respective axle load. Parts usually run through independent commercial-vehicle workshops. For operation behind the tractor unit, besides the trailer's rated gross weight the tractor's rated towing capacity is also decisive, since it sets the real limit in heavy-duty operation.
