With gross weights up to 42 tonnes and lengths of up to nearly 14 metres, the 0NCRS range corresponds to classic semi-trailers for European long-haul transport, as built under the Fruehauf name for decades in several European countries. The Fruehauf name is still associated with the basic form of the modern semi-trailer.

When buying a used semi-trailer of this generation, check the frame and chassis rails for corrosion and deformation, the condition of the axles and braking system, the kingpin and landing legs, and the tightness of the tarpaulin or body. Brand-specific parts for the historic Fruehauf semi-trailers are only available to a limited extent, while common axle and brake components can be sourced through the general parts trade.
