Fiatagri, the agricultural machinery division spun off from Fiat in 1974 with production in Modena, introduced the 94 range in the 1980s and early 1990s as a development of its farm tractor line-up. With standard four-wheel drive, the 94 range targeted farms with demanding soil and terrain conditions that needed extra traction for heavier tillage. In this power class of around 70 to 85 hp, Fiatagri competed with similarly positioned four-wheel-drive tractors from makers such as Same, Deutz-Fahr and Massey Ferguson.
When buying a used Fiatagri from the 94 range, check the condition of the front axle drive and transfer case, wear on the clutch and main gearbox, and corrosion on the frame and mudguards. Spare parts for this range are supplied by dealers in historic Fiatagri and New Holland agricultural machinery, as the model line technically lives on through the merger into New Holland.
