Fendt Favorit 800

The register lists 5 versions with 121 to 169 kW (190 to 230 hp) from six-cylinder engines of 6,870 to 6,871 cm³, unladen weights of 7,480 to 7,800 kg, a length of 4,940 mm, widths of 2,550 to 2,590 mm, heights of 3,045 to 3,110 mm and torque of 709 to 947 Nm at 2,200 to 2,300 rpm.

In the 1990s, the Favorit 800 occupied Fendt's upper power segment for large farms and contractors, before the Vario continuously variable transmissions of later ranges brought stepless power transfer to this class; it competed with comparable large tractors from Fiat, Deutz-Fahr and John Deere. The robust mechanical drivetrain without complex transmission electronics is still valued today by collectors and farms with simple workshop facilities.

On a used Favorit 800, check the clutch and gearbox, the hydraulic pump and lift linkage, and rust on the fenders and cab floor; the six-cylinder engines call for attention to the injection pump and turbocharger, with parts available through specialist Fendt dealers and tractor parts suppliers.
