Fendt builds its tractors in Marktoberdorf, Bavaria, and has been part of the AGCO group since 1997. The V/F designation marks narrow-track special versions at Fendt for vineyards (V) and orchards (F), which must pass between narrow rows where a standard tractor would not fit.

The Fendt 207 V/F carries a water-cooled three-cylinder diesel engine with 3,236 cm³ of displacement, producing 70 hp, or 51 kW, at 2,100 rpm, with 295 Nm of torque; it runs on diesel or RME. At just 1,070 mm wide, 2,360 mm high, 3,578 mm long and with a 2,160 mm wheelbase, the narrow machine reaches a top speed of 30 km/h.

At just over a metre wide, the 207 V/F passes through rows too narrow for an ordinary farm tractor, while its three cylinders and 51 kW remain strong enough for mulchers, sprayers and haul trailers in the vineyard or orchard. The 30 km/h design top speed falls under German driving licence class L.

When buying a narrow-track vineyard or orchard tractor used, the condition of the mudguards and door mirrors matters, as these are often grazed when working in tight rows, along with the tightness of the hydraulic connections for sprayers and mulchers. Also worth checking are the steering, which carries a heavier load on a narrow-track chassis, and corrosion damage to the frame and axles from frequent contact with crop-protection products.
