Fendt 1000 Vario Gen3 – the flagship series from Marktoberdorf: 1038 to 1050 Vario with 12.4-litre six-cylinder, up to 383 kW / 517 hp, 1,900 to 2,100 Nm torque
The Fendt 1000 Vario Gen3 is the third iteration of the flagship series introduced in 2016 from Marktoberdorf, and the largest standard tractor the maker builds in Europe. The 1038 to 1050 Vario models are powered by a six-cylinder engine of 12,419 cm³ which, at market launch, was the first Fendt engine sourced from MAN rather than the group's usual engines; the Gen3 iteration bundles the latest update to the engine, cab and operating electronics. The stepless Vario transmission, the maker's hallmark since 1995, remains the namesake of the entire model range.
