This page gathers the FBW vehicles the register could not assign to a named range: the types 40U-CUA, C40U, FBW X50 and X50. FBW – Franz Brozincevic, Wetzikon – built trucks and buses in Wetzikon, Switzerland, from the 1920s until 1985; the X range was among the brand's last heavy types before production was absorbed into the newly formed NAW.

The register lists here 4 versions with 11,044 cm³ displacement from six cylinders. Unladen weights range from 6,250 to 7,730 kg, gross weights from 12,000 to 15,000 kg, lengths from 6,920 to 9,850 mm and widths from 2,300 to 2,340 mm.
FBW trucks served above all in Switzerland with haulage firms and municipalities; after production ended in 1985, some vehicles survived as museum and collector pieces or in municipal fleets into the 1990s. NAW was formed in 1982 from the merger of the truck divisions of FBW, Saurer and Berna, and was later taken over by Mercedes-Benz. Wetzikon as the place of production remains part of the history of the Swiss truck industry to this day.
On these historic chassis, the condition of the frame and cab, the condition of engine and gearbox given the vehicles' age, corrosion on load-bearing parts and the availability of spare parts count, which for a brand discontinued in 1985 now runs practically only through collector circles and remaining stock.
