The register lists four variants here with an engine output of 45 kW, displacements from 1,720 to 3,860 cm³ from four- to six-cylinder engines, kerb weights from 1,350 to 3,000 kg, gross vehicle weights from 2,220 to 3,500 kg, a length of 4,200 mm and widths from 1,750 to 2,230 mm.

As an export brand, Fargo gave the Chrysler Corporation access to markets outside North America without putting its core Dodge and Chrysler brands in direct competition with local licensees; the vehicles differed technically little from contemporary Dodge models and shared their drivetrains, which simplified local production and servicing in licensee countries.

When buying one of these older commercial vehicles, corrosion on the frame and body, the condition of the engine and gearbox, and the origin and completeness of the licensed-production documentation matter most; parts availability varies by country of production and runs through Dodge parts networks or local specialists.
