Evers Other models

The register lists here 104 versions with unladen weights from 530 to 6,560 kg and gross weights from 1,250 to 10,900 kg; widths range from 1,350 to 2,550 mm, lengths from 4,760 to 11,970 mm.

With gross weights up to nearly 11 tonnes, the Evers trailers sit in the segment of medium-heavy tandem- and tridem-axle trailers for commercial purposes, above the classic car trailers but below the heavy semi-trailers.

On a trailer of this class, what counts is the condition of axles, brakes and the overrun device, rust on frame and load bed, and a valid trailer inspection; given this range of types, an independent technical inspection before buying is advisable in every case. On tridem axle groups, the load spreads more evenly than on a simple tandem axle, which spares the tyres and axle bearings; regardless of maker, the overrun device's brake cables and the weld seams at the axle mounting also count among the wear points.
