Eicher Kombi G

The register lists 6 versions rated at 14.6 to 29.3 kW (20 to 40 hp) from two- to three-cylinder diesel engines of 1,700 to 2,944 cm³, torque of 110 Nm at around 2,000 rpm, a lift capacity of up to 850 kg, kerb weights of 1,400 to 2,020 kg, and a length of 3,880 to 5,020 mm, a width of 1,580 to 1,645 mm and a height of 1,470 to 1,770 mm.

As light general-purpose tractors of the post-war era, the Kombi G models competed with comparable small tractors from other German makers and served the market of smaller, often still mixed-farming holdings in southern Germany, where field work, yard tasks and transport were all handled by the same tractor.

On these vintage tractors, check engine and radiator condition, the clutch and mechanical gearbox, the simple hydraulics with lift, and corrosion on sheet-metal parts, wings and the frame; steering and brakes also belong on any test drive. Spares are now only available through specialist Eicher parts dealers, vintage-machinery markets and reproductions of common wear parts.
