Doornwaard is a Dutch trailer manufacturer; the DT series covers part of its range of twin- and multi-axle trailers. Model names combine the code DT with a number for the payload class in kilograms (from 3,000 to 20,000) and letter suffixes such as OE, OZ, OT or OEZ marking individual equipment variants within a given size.

The register lists 37 versions with an unladen weight from 1.67 to 6.85 t and a gross weight from 3.5 to 20 t. Lengths range from 5.1 to 14 m, widths from 2.18 to 2.59 m.
Within this range the DT series spans medium-duty twin-axle trailers as well as heavy tandem or three-axle trailers for construction, transport and agricultural businesses in the Netherlands. Twin-axle and tandem trailers of this size are used in earthworks, the transport of construction machinery, and in agriculture for hauling silage and sugar beet.
When buying used, key checks include corrosion on the frame and chassis rails, the condition of axles, suspension and brakes, and the tightness of the hydraulics on tipper versions. Lights, the plug and the coupling should be tested before the first journey. On tipper versions, checks should also cover the condition of the side-panel hinges and the seals on the tipping body. Spare parts for axles, brakes and hydraulics are available from trailer specialists in the Netherlands.
