The four-cylinder diesel engine with 4,085 cm³ displacement is air-cooled and produces 75 hp, or 55.2 kW, at 2,350 rpm, with torque of 250 Nm. At just 1,200 mm width, with 2,250 kg weight, 3,470 mm length and 2,100 mm height, the AgroCompact is markedly narrower than comparably heavy standard tractors.

With a top speed of 30 km/h, the AgroCompact 3.90 F/S falls into driving licence category L (up to 40 km/h). The narrow track width of 1,200 mm suits the machine to work in tight lanes, such as between row crops or in plantings with narrow row spacing, where a standard tractor would not fit.

When buying an AgroCompact, check the condition of the narrow axles and steering joints, which see greater strain working in tight lanes. Also check the cooling-air ducting of the air-cooled four-cylinder engine, the clutch and gearbox, and the availability of spare parts for this narrow special body style. The front hydraulics and the couplings for narrow implements should also be checked, since implements built specifically for this narrow range have become scarce, and finding replacements often takes considerable effort.
