The span from 2 to 50 tonnes gross weight covers virtually the entire range of use found in road freight and special transport, from the light commercial trailer to the heavy low-loader. Such broad ranges are typical of smaller trailer builders that build to customer order rather than maintain a fixed model line-up.

On used examples the checkpoints differ greatly by version: on the light trailers the frame, axle and overrun brake, on the heavy versions additionally the condition of the axle units, brake system, hydraulics and frame side members and rust on load-bearing parts; axles and brake systems on trailers of this size usually come from specialist suppliers. On all versions it is also worth checking the tyres and lighting. It is worth comparing the actual condition with the vehicle papers. Photographs from a previous inspection can help spot repainted areas.
