The register lists 23 versions with gross weights from 1,080 to 3,500 kilograms, unladen weights from 767 to 1,721 kilograms and widths from 1.98 to 2.48 metres and lengths from 3.71 to 7.34 metres. The trailers therefore remain consistently within the car-trailer class up to 3,500 kilograms.

Mobile decontamination units of this kind are a standard part of the equipment used by remediation firms, which under the relevant regulations for work with asbestos-containing materials need personnel and material airlocks plus negative-pressure control at the work area. Deconta competes in this niche market with other specialist suppliers of remediation technology.

When buying used, the key checkpoints on these units are chiefly the condition of the filter stages and seals and the function of the fan and negative-pressure monitoring, since a leaking unit loses its protective effect. Add to that the usual checks of the axle, overrun brake and trailer drawbar, and a look for corrosion on the housing caused by frequent outdoor use.
