Deca – other models: the collective page of tractors outside the named ranges, from the A 30 to the D 55, 18 to 100 kW, exclusively air-cooled Deutz diesel engines of the F range
This page gathers the Deca tractors the register could not assign to a named range. The range is divided into the A and D series, whose trailing number roughly states the power class in hp, from the A 30 to the A 130 and the larger D types. All the models on this page run on air-cooled Deutz diesel engines of the F range – from the two-cylinder F2L1114 through the four-cylinder F4L514 to the six-cylinder F6L514 – of the kind many European tractor builders used in the 1960s and 1970s as bought-in power units for their own chassis designs.

The register lists here 13 versions with 18 to 100 kW, or 30 to 130 hp, from two- to six-cylinders, all with Deutz diesel engines.
The air-cooled Deutz F-range engines were regarded as rugged and low-maintenance, since they needed no water cooling system or antifreeze, which made them a popular choice for makers without their own engine development.
On used examples, the condition of the air-cooling fan and cylinder heads, the tightness of the injection pump, the state of clutch and gearbox, and rust on sheet metal count; spares for the Deutz engines themselves are usually well available, but for Deca-specific attachment parts only to a limited extent.
