Cnh Steyr MULTI

The Steyr 4095 Multi carries a water-cooled four-cylinder diesel engine with 3,400 cm³ of displacement, producing 99 hp, or 73 kW, at 2,300 rpm. At a weight from 4,500 kg, 4,166 mm long, 1,915 mm high, 2,100 mm wide and with a 2,420 mm wheelbase, the machine reaches a top speed of 40 km/h.

At just 1,915 mm tall, the 4095 Multi sits lower than many standard tractors of comparable engine output, making it suitable for work under low barn roofs, in greenhouses or in orchards with limited clearance. Its 73 kW from 3,400 cm³ of displacement is enough for field work with medium-weight implements and for haulage runs on the farm. The low profile does not come at the cost of the 2,420 mm wheelbase, which still gives the machine stability in the field.

When buying a low-built tractor used, the condition of the cab mounting and sealing matters, as low-profile builds are often fitted with adapted cabs. Also worth checking are the tightness of the hydraulic connections, the condition of the clutch, and corrosion damage to the frame and mudguards, common on machines working continuously under barn roofs or in high-humidity settings.
