Case Steyr 9100 series – large tractors 9105a, 9115a, 9125a and 9145a from the 1990s Case-Steyr era, four- to six-cylinder diesels from 77 to 107 kW, all with four-wheel drive
The 9100 series emerged in the 1990s, when Case and Steyr worked closely together in tractor building; the 9105a, 9115a, 9125a and 9145a types form the mid to upper power class of this generation. The last two digits of the type designation roughly reflect the power in horsepower, while the trailing letter a consistently denotes four-wheel drive at Steyr; all four models listed here are accordingly built as four-wheel-drive tractors. The 9100s were built, like Steyr's other large series, at the St. Valentin plant.

The register lists four versions here with 77.3 to 106.7 kW from four- to six-cylinder diesel engines with 4,397 to 6,596 cm³ displacement. Rated speed is 2,300 rpm, unladen weight ranges from 5,015 to 5,285 kg with lengths from 4,530 to 4,930 mm, widths from 2,450 to 2,515 mm and heights from 2,850 to 2,930 mm; torque lies between 385 and 562 Nm. The engines are approved for diesel or rapeseed oil methyl ester.
In this power class, the 9100 series was aimed at medium to larger farms with tillage and transport work and competed directly with comparable Case IH and Fendt ranges of the period.
When buying used, check the condition of the front axle differential and driveshafts of the four-wheel-drive steering, tightness of the hydraulic pump, wear on the clutch and powershift stages, and on RME operation the condition of injectors and fuel lines.
