The TN-A range forms the second generation of New Holland's TN utility tractors, built from the early 2000s at the Jesi plant in Italy; the models covered here, TN 60, TN 70 and TN 75, carry the DA and SA suffixes for different equipment levels. Unlike New Holland's larger ranges, the engine within the TN-A line is uniform: all three models use the same three-cylinder engine of 2,931 cm³, graded by power output.

The TN-A range was positioned as a compact utility tractor for small and medium farms, orchards, vineyards and municipal use, competing with comparable ranges from Deutz-Fahr, Massey Ferguson and Case IH, the sister brand within the joint CNH group.
On a used TN-A, the condition of the clutch and gearbox, the tightness of the hydraulics, rust on the chassis and wings, and the condition of the electronic displays and fuses all count; since all three models share the same engine and bodywork, many wear parts can be sourced across the range. A straight, unbent front axle and a smoothly engaging shuttle lever are worth checking on a test drive before buying.
