The T4000 series is a register name from the Case New Holland (CNH) era for tractors built at the Italian plant in Jesi. The four models T-4020, T-4030, T-4040 and T-4050 are staggered by rising power through the last two digits of their designation and all carry a four-cylinder diesel engine that, according to the register, can run on both diesel and biodiesel.

The register lists 4 versions with 47.8 to 71.3 kW from four-cylinders with 3,202 to 4,485 cm³ displacement. As compact to mid-size field tractors, the T4000 series targets small and medium-sized farms as well as speciality crop operations, competing with comparable series from Deutz-Fahr, Massey Ferguson and John Deere. It is used mainly for tillage, sowing, transport work and powering trailed harvesting machinery.
When buying used, the operating hours on the four-cylinder, the condition of the lift hydraulics and PTO, and the tightness of engine and transmission all matter, particularly after extended biodiesel use. Spare parts run through the Case IH and New Holland dealer network. It is also worth checking the on-board electronics, cab mounting and seat suspension, and tyre tread depth.
