The 5025R carries the same four-cylinder diesel engine with 2,286 cm³ of displacement as the 25C range, but here limited to 47 hp, or 35 kW, at 2,600 rpm. At 1,790 kg unladen weight, 3,150 kg permissible gross weight, 3,316 mm long, with a 1,806 mm wheelbase and 1,620 mm width and 2,500 mm height, the hydraulics also lift up to 1,500 kg.
The same displacement at lower power than the 6225C shows that Branson covers several power steps within the 25 range with the same base engine. The unchanged lift capacity of 1,500 kg at a lower unladen weight makes the 5025R a lighter but similarly versatile tractor for front-loader and implement work. The water-cooled design with radiator and fan allows continuous use even in hot ambient conditions.
When buying used, the same checkpoints matter as for other compact farm tractors of this build: the condition of the front hydraulics, the tightness of the rear axle and clutch wear. It is also worth comparing the actual engine output against the factory-limited figure if changes have been made to the injection system, since a re-tuned pump can push the engine beyond its intended limit.
