Car-transporter trailers of this size serve commercial and private transport of cars, small machinery and work equipment, complementing suppliers such as Böckmann, Humbaur and Brian James Trailers in the commercial trailer market; the twin- and triple-axle 6x2 versions allow higher payloads for heavier vehicles. On the larger versions with hydraulic ramp lowering, the design considerably eases loading and unloading of low-slung machines such as excavators or mini-excavators compared with rigid ramps.

When buying used, check the condition and load capacity of the loading platform (warping, rust at the welds), the loading ramps and their locking, the braking system and overrun hitch, and the tyres and wheel bearings.
