This page gathers the Bolinder-Munktell and early Volvo tractors that the register carries under the name BM Volvo – the designation used during the transitional period when Volvo gradually took over the Swedish brand Bolinder-Munktell. From the BM types to the T models such as the T 430, T 600 Boxer, T 650 and T 800, the names reflect the shift from an independent brand to Volvo's farm-equipment division.

The register lists here 5 versions with 31.3 to 70.6 kW from three- to six-cylinder engines of 2,500 to 5,130 cm³ displacement, torque from 167 to 258 Nm at 1,950 to 2,300 rpm, unladen weights from 2,398 to 4,260 kg, lengths from 3,300 to 4,030 mm and widths from 1,760 to 2,060 mm, and heights from 2,340 to 2,650 mm – all with diesel engines.

These transitional models stood on Swedish farms between the old Bolinder-Munktell era and the more modern Volvo BM tractors and covered a broad power range, from smaller yard tractors to bigger field tractors, before the brand later merged with the Finnish maker Valmet, laying the ground for today's Valtra.

Used, these models call for checking engine condition and the cooling system, clutch and transmission, hydraulics and PTO, and the condition of sheet metal and tyres; electrics and the tightness of the fuel system are also worth checking. Parts are today offered mainly by Swedish and Nordic vintage-tractor specialists.
