Anton Schlüter of Munich was present in the market alongside its large, partly turbocharged tractors with a more compact Compact range; the 1050T/1050TV model was built within it from November 1974 to September 1977. While the large ranges with turbocharging and a high cylinder count were aimed chiefly at large farms, the Compact range targeted farms looking for a more compact, easier-to-handle machine with solid power.
