The K range, with the model K 25, succeeded Alpenland's smaller GS range; it was built from 1950 to 1952 and, with a twin-cylinder engine, was a more powerful design than its predecessor. Like its smaller sister range, the K range relied on a robust, water-cooled engine and simple mechanics, but now with two cylinders for more pulling power and smoother running.

The K 25 is powered by a water-cooled twin-cylinder diesel engine with 2,356 cm³ displacement, producing 18.3 kW or 25 hp at 1,500 rpm. The machine is 3,000 mm long, 1,600 mm wide and 1,550 mm high, has a wheelbase of 1,750 mm, weighs 1,450 kg and reaches 20 km/h.
At 20 km/h, the K 25 falls into driving licence category L. The twin-cylinder engine of 2.4 litres places the K 25 in the mid-range of early post-war tractors, clearly more powerful than pure single-cylinder small tractors of those years, yet still far from the later multi-cylinder standard tractors.
On a tractor as old as the K 25, over seventy years, check the cooling system and injection pump, the frame, mudguards and axles for corrosion, and the tightness of the mechanical steering; parts are now only available through collector circles. Besides the cooling system and injection pump, on a K 25 it is also worth checking the clutch and the front-axle bearings, which were put under particular strain over decades of use on uneven ground.
