AGCO White 8010 series – Fieldmaster 8510 to 8810: the big six-cylinder field tractors of the White brand at AGCO in the 1990s, 119 to 168 kW
The 8010 series was, in the 1990s, the range of big field tractors of the White brand, which then belonged to the AGCO farm equipment group headquartered in Duluth, Georgia. White Farm Equipment had emerged in the United States from the coming together of several long-established tractor makers before the brand passed to AGCO. The four models 8510, 8610, 8710 and 8810 Fieldmaster formed the brand's upper power class in white livery, all with six-cylinder diesel engines of the same design across the range.

The register lists here 4 versions with 119.2 to 167.7 kW from six-cylinders of 8,268 cm³ displacement, torque from 729 to 970 Nm at 2,200 rpm, unladen weights from 7,648 to 9,036 kg and uniform dimensions of 5,156 mm length, 2,494 mm width and 3,073 mm height – all with diesel engines.
The Fieldmaster range targeted operations with large fields and high draft requirements, as typical of the arable regions of the American Midwest and the Great Plains, where it competed with the big models from Case IH, John Deere and Massey Ferguson.
Used, the Fieldmaster tractors call for checking engine condition and operating hours, the hydraulics and PTO for heavy mounted implements, front axle condition, and frame and cab mounts; transmission and clutch should also be checked under load. Spare parts now run through the AGCO organisation, to which the White brand belonged.
