Aebi TT (Terratrac) – Swiss slope transporter from Burgdorf: TT 80 to TT 281, four-cylinder diesels rated 36–80 kW, low centre of gravity for steep terrain
Aebi's TT line is the Terratrac family from the Swiss maker in Burgdorf, specialised in transport work and light draft work in mountain and slope terrain. Aebi was founded in 1883 and developed the Terratrac concept as vehicles with a low centre of gravity, four-wheel drive and a swivelling driver's seat for work on steep slopes; the TT type designation stands for Terratrac, with the following number marking the model step. From the TT 80 as the smallest to the TT 281 as the most powerful model, the line covers a wide power range for grassland, transport and municipal work.

TT vehicles are mainly found in Switzerland, Austria and the mountain regions of southern Germany, where they work land too steep for conventional tractors; typical tasks are hay and grass harvesting, transport work and winter service with attachments. Competition comes chiefly from the Austrian makers Reform and Lindner.
On a used Terratrac, check the condition of the engine and drivetrain, the articulation bearing of the folding chassis, the hydraulic pump and cylinders, and the brakes and tyres; given slope use, it is worth carefully checking the frame and implement mounts for cracking. Aebi supplies spares through its own dealer network in Switzerland and Austria.
