The Aebi Transporter, or TP, is alongside the single-axle tractors the second large range of Aebi & Co. AG Maschinenfabrik in Burgdorf: a low-slung, four-wheel-drive utility vehicle for transport on steep and difficult terrain in agriculture, forestry and municipal service. The TP added to the line-up a vehicle with a load platform and low centre of gravity for slopes where conventional trucks can no longer drive safely. In alpine farming and viticulture on steep slopes the Transporter has established itself over decades as an indispensable working tool.

The Aebi Transporter is regarded in Switzerland, Austria and southern Germany as the standard vehicle for material transport on steep ground and is used equally by farms, forestry businesses and municipalities, where it replaces a tractor and trailer on difficult terrain.
On a used Aebi TP, condition of the four-wheel drive and differential locks, tightness and function of the hydrostatic drive, condition of brakes and tyres, and rust on frame and load platform count; parts run through the Aebi dealer network.
