The Triumph 2000 is a British upper mid-size saloon built by the Triumph Motor Company between 1963 and 1977 in the 2000, 2.5PI and 2500 forms. The bodywork was penned by the Italian designer Michelotti, who also worked on other Triumph models. In the line-up it followed the Standard Vanguard and was later succeeded in the market by the Rover SD1, which took over the role of Leyland's large executive saloon. This is not a class N1 van but a classic passenger car.

The straight-six engine displaces 1,998 cm³ and was offered with either a carburettor or mechanical fuel injection depending on the version. The body came as a four-door saloon and a five-door estate, both around 1,435 mm tall and about 1,714 mm wide. The gearbox was available as a plain manual, a manual with overdrive, or an automatic, and the fuel tank held around 62.5 litres.
As a 1960s and 1970s saloon, the Triumph 2000 represents the British executive class of its era: rear-wheel drive, a torquey six-cylinder engine and an upmarket cabin finish aimed at both company car buyers and private customers. With 324,652 units built over the model's production run, the line was a major sales pillar for Triumph in the British mid-size saloon segment.
