Karmann, the Osnabrück coachbuilder known for the Karmann Ghia and numerous convertible bodies for Volkswagen, built motorhomes on the VW T4 base under the name Karmann Mobil in the 1990s. Colorado and Missouri were the two model ranges of this motorhome line, TDI marking the diesel-engined version, and the suffixes H and S on the Missouri denoting different floorplans or equipment levels. Karmann ended vehicle production in 2009 following the company's insolvency.
