This page gathers the Versatile tractors the register could not assign to a named range – from smaller two-wheel-drive tractors such as the 118 and 145 to the big articulated four-wheel-drive tractors for which the company, founded in 1963 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, became known. Versatile launched one of the first series-built articulated four-wheel-drive tractors with the D100 model in 1966, and in 1977 built the one-off 1080, known as 'Big Roy', one of the largest farm tractors ever built; the company belonged to Ford New Holland from 1987 to 1991, then became independent again, and today belongs via Buhler Industries to the Russian Rostselmash group. On the big models the number mostly denotes the power class in hp (the 935 is about 335 hp).

The register lists here 71 versions with 75 to 451.1 kW (100 to 605 hp) from six- to eight-cylinders, lift capacities from 2,721 to 9,843 kg and a rated speed of 1,400 to 3,000 rpm; the engines are overwhelmingly from Cummins.
Versatile is regarded as the pioneer of the articulated four-wheel-drive tractor and remains a fixture in the big-tractor segment mainly in North America, especially in the large grain-growing regions of Canada and the northern United States.
On used big models, operating hours and the condition of the Cummins engine, the articulation joint and four-wheel drive, hydraulics and cab count; on the smaller two-wheel-drive types, clutch and transmission; parts today run through the Versatile network owned by Buhler Industries.
