The Bedford CF, registered as the Vauxhall CF in some markets, is the light van General Motors' British commercial-vehicle arm Bedford built in Luton from 1969 as the successor to the Bedford CA, offering it into the 1980s in several payload and wheelbase variants. Vauxhall itself, part of General Motors since 1925, focused in Britain on passenger cars, while Bedford operated as the group's separate commercial-vehicle brand. It was powered either by the in-house 2.3-litre four-cylinder petrol engine or by diesel engines from the GM group, in van, flatbed and minibus bodies.
