Someca was Fiat's French tractor manufacturing arm, with a plant in Saint-Dizier in the Champagne region; from the 1960s the brand built Fiat tractors under licence and under its own name for the French market and for export. The models gathered here range from the early DA and DR types through the multi-purpose SOM-20 D to the 400 and 500 range (474, 570) with the suffixes TD for turbo-diesel, V for a higher-output version and E for an equipment level. In the 1980s Someca was absorbed into Fiatagri, which later merged with Ford New Holland to form New Holland.
