Schlüter Euro Trac – the last large-tractor generation from Freising before production ended in 1993: Euro Trac 800 to 2000, four- and six-cylinders of 4.6 to 6.9 litres, 59 to 143 kW, 4.3 to 7.0 t
The Euro Trac was Anton Schlüter's last large tractor generation from Freising, with which the company kept pace in the segment of high-power standard tractors right up to the end of its own tractor manufacture in 1993. The model numbers from Euro Trac 800 to Euro Trac 2000 rise with the power class, the engines are four- and six-cylinder diesels of 4.6 to 6.9 litres, consistently tuned to 2,200 rpm.

The register lists 6 versions with 59 to 143 kW (80 to 190 hp) from four- and six-cylinder diesels of 4,580 to 6,871 cm³ at 2,200 rpm, torque from 540 to 785 Nm, unladen weights from 4,300 to 7,000 kg, lengths around 5,340 to 5,360 mm, a width of 2,500 mm and heights from 2,750 to 3,115 mm; hydraulic lift capacity reaches up to 5,800 kg.
The Euro Trac targeted large German and European arable farms and contracting businesses looking for a high-power standard tractor without articulated steering, putting it in competition with the Fendt Favorit, Case IH and Deutz-Fahr; with production ending in 1993, Schlüter became a niche and collector make.
On used tractors, engine and turbocharger, clutch and gearbox, hydraulics and linkage, cab and electrics, and sheet metal and frame for rust count; since the make has built no tractors since 1993, spare parts are scarce and run mostly through Schlüter specialists.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Check the weights in the papers against the figures here — attachments change them.
- Check front and rear tyre sizes: mismatched pairs strain the drivetrain.
- Shift the gearbox cold and warm — jumps only show up at temperature.
- Load the hydraulics and watch for sag.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
