The Antares series was developed at SAME of Treviglio during the SLH era of the 1990s, when the company operated as the SAME Lamborghini Hürlimann group following its acquisition of Lamborghini Trattori and Hürlimann, before the 1995 acquisition of Deutz-Fahr formed today's SDF group. The models Antares 100, 110, 130 and Antares II 130 rank the types by power class; the II designation marks a revised second generation of the 130 hp model.
