The register lists 24 live models, from the 103-12 TX to the 133-14 TX, built between 1981 and 1994. Output ranges from 57.4 to 106.7 kW, or 78 to 135 hp, weight from 3,100 to 6,750 kg, displacement from 4,156 to 6,234 cm3, across four- and six-cylinder engines.
In September 1982, Renault added the TS series, a reduced-specification entry version of the TX with only one door, which further underlined the TX's positioning as the comfort model.
With its broad output range of roughly 80 to 135 hp, the TX series formed the backbone of Renault Agriculture's mid-to-upper power segment for more than a decade.
When buying a used, comfort-oriented TX series, besides clutch, gearbox and hydraulic tightness, the condition of the more elaborate cab specification and suspension matters especially, being more prone to wear than the simpler TS or RS version; rust on cab and mudguards after decades of field use is common too. Parts have run through the Claas parts network since Renault Agriculture's dissolution. PTO and three-point hitch correspond in this power class to ISO 730 Category II to III, at 540 or 1,000 rpm.
