The Renault 4 (R4) was a front-wheel-drive small car unveiled in 1961, built in France until 1992 and at other plants until 1994, whose hatchback body and large tailgate made it one of the most widely built cars in Europe. The Fourgonnette versions covered here (F6, Fourgonnette) are the delivery-van variants with an extended load area in place of the rear seat, marked in the type by "F6" or "Fourgonnette"/"Fourgonnette".
