The Maxity was Renault's light chassis-cab truck between the large Master and the classic medium-weight ranges, built from 2007 to 2019. It was developed jointly with Nissan as the technical sister model of the Cabstar, both coming off the same Nissan production line in Ávila, Spain. The type logic of model names such as Maxity 130.35 gives the engine output in hp before the dot and the weight class in tenths of a tonne after it, here 3.5 tonnes; CC stands for Cabine Courte, the short single cab, DC for Double Cabine, the double cab with an extra row of seats for site crews, and DXI refers to Renault's dCi/DXI diesel engine family.
