The Piaggio Porter is an Italian mini-truck that Piaggio Veicoli Commerciali has built since 1993 at the Pontedera plant in Tuscany on the base of a Japanese kei-truck platform; the body variants range from the van through pickup and tipper (Kipper, Kipper SL, Big Deck) to the extended Porter Maxxi. Alongside the conventional petrol and diesel engines, Piaggio has offered the Porter since the 2000s also as the Porter Electric with electric drive, making it an early series-built electric commercial vehicle for inner-city delivery.
