New Holland's telehandlers carry the code LM and are aimed at agriculture – stacking bales, mixing feed, loading manure, towing trailers – where the tractor maker sells them through its dealer network alongside the tractors. Three naming generations appear in the register: the LM 415 A to LM 445 A and the M 427, M 428 and M 459 of the early 2000s were built in cooperation with Manitou, the French telehandler specialist, and carry its design; the LM 1330 to LM 1745 from 2007 encode lift height and capacity in the name – an LM 1745 lifts about 4.5 t to 17 m, an LM 1330 about 3 t to 13 m – and the LM 5040 to LM 5080 from 2013 are the range with group engines of Stage IV, where the final digits order the capacity class. PS stands for powershift, A for the version with all-wheel steering.

The register lists 19 versions with 55.9 to 89.5 kW from four-cylinders of 3,900 to 4,506 cm³ – CNH NEF 4.5 l in naturally aspirated and turbo form, an Iveco 8045 in the oldest types – at 2,200 rpm, torque from 320 to 515 Nm, service weights from 6,441 to 12,300 kg and heights from 2,390 to 2,610 mm.
The NEF engine is the same as in the New Holland T5 and T6 tractors, which lets farmers share parts and workshop knowledge; the sister models run at Case IH as the Farmlift.
