The New Holland LM6.32 is a telehandler of the LM series from New Holland (CNH). The maker introduced a new generation of this series in 2013. The register gives an engine of 4,501.5 cm³ with turbocharging and intercooling; according to trade press it is a 4.5-litre NEF engine to Tier 4 Interim with up to 121 hp.

The powershift transmission has four forward and three reverse gears that change without clutch operation. The steering offers three modes. The machine is 6,190 mm long, has 415 mm ground clearance and a tank of 140.1 l. According to trade press the maximum capacity is 7,054 lb and the lift height 20.6 ft.

Telehandlers of this class work in farming and on building sites: they stack bales, load pallets and bring material to scaffolds. The powershift saves shifting work with frequent changes of direction, and the high ground clearance helps on uneven ground.

New Holland LM – telehandlers for agriculture

New Holland (now part of CNH) has been involved in the farm loader market since 1998; early ancestors of the LM range came from the French specialist Manitou. In 2007 New Holland took the assembly in-house. In 2013 the heavy six-to-nine-metre LM range was redesigned: LM 6.32, LM 6.35 Elite, LM 7.35, LM 7.42 Elite and LM 9.35, lifting up to 4,200 kg to a maximum height of 9.1 m. It replaced the LM5040, LM5060 and LM5080.

What to check before buying

  • Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
  • Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
  • Load the hydraulics and watch for sag.
  • Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
