The Boomer is New Holland's compact tractor – the continuation of the partnership with Shibaura of Matsumoto in Japan that Ford began in 1973 and that runs through the 1000, 10, 20 and TC ranges to this day. The type logic: the number gives the hp class – Boomer 30 about 30 hp, Boomer 40 40 hp, Boomer 50 50 hp – the four-digit types 3040, 3045 and 3050 are the first Boomer generation from 2008, in which the first digits give the range and the last the power, with the stepless EasyDrive transmission; the suffixes CVT and HT mark the stepless and the hydrostatic transmission, D the Deluxe equipment with cab and comfort, 46D and 54D the Deluxe models with 46 and 54 hp. The engines are Shibaura three- and four-cylinders and the FPT R753 of 1.8 to 2.5 litres to emission stage IV.
